Great Britain's Laura Robson will not be able to play in Australia this month, as she is not quite ready to return from a left wrist injury. The 20-year-old has not played since January 2014.

Robson is continuing to work with her coach, Mauricio Hadad, and says she’s feeling much better overall, but needs a little longer to make her comeback. Robson may try to play Fed Cup in the Group I February 4-7 tie in Budapest.

She reached her highest ranking of No. 27 in July 2013.
