MISMATCH  Grigor Dimitrov is allegedly on the bound from his fizzled relationship with Maria Sharapova. Word is he's taken up with a former Pussycat Doll, Nicole Scherzinger. She's 37 to his 24 years young. And she seems to forget to wear tops under her stylish blazers. The report claims the pair are downright "besotted" with each other—but it hails from The Sun, so by all means, take it with a grain (or a boulder) of salt.

In related news, whoever writes a "Love Match" headline about a tennis player's relationship moving forward needs to be reprimanded for straight-up phoning it in. Indeed, there is truly nothing new under the sun.

BOXED OUT It did not go unnoticed by fans that Ronda Rousey, despite losing her UFC bantamweight title to Holly Holm over the weekend, is a force to be reckoned with and she's here to stay. Rousey, in dropping the fight, actually overtook Maria Sharapova in the wake of defeat to become a different sort of champion: the No. 1 female athlete in terms of social media followers. Says here she'd probably rather have retained her UFC standing. (By the by, in third place? Serena Williams.)

TRULY FED UP It did not go unnoticed during Roger Federer's precise 7-5, 6-2 dismantling of Novak Djokovic in the ATP World Tour Finals on Tuesday: In typically un-Fed-like fashion, Roger flung a water bottle over his shoulder in the direction of ... nothing and no one exactly. That's one way to get rid of an empty.

STAY TOGETHER FOR THE KADS "Tennis is my mistress, and we have no plans to break up." Indianapolis Monthly magazine staged an AMA—ask me anything—with Sports Illustrated's tennis laureate Jon Wertheim, and asked if he's getting too busy to pen his heralded weekly mailbag. His answer was rapture to the ears of fans of tennis and sports journalism everywhere.

BONUS: RAJ ON The pride of Indianapolis, Rajeev Ram, had a pretty good year, (re)claiming the Newport singles title on grass, taking the Halle doubles title (also on grass), and reaching a Top 30 dubs ranking.

Now he's inviting a trio of fellow Americans—veteran doubles ace Eric Butorac, up-and-comer Denis Kudla, and 18-year-old phenom Tommy Paul—to his hometown of Carmel, Indiana, for a charity exhibition on December 5. (Full disclosure: Your loyal Spin keeper sits on the EntouRaj for Kids board.)
