If you’re an American playing on the ATP World Tour and you happen to be contesting a doubles final on your birthday, the odds appear to be in your favor in 2017.

By winning the doubles title at the Estoril Open this past weekend, Ryan Harrison became the third man from the U.S. this year to capture a crown on his birthday—and the second in two weeks to accomplish the feat.

Last week it was Brian Baker who pulled it off, winning the Budapest title on his 32nd birthday with partner Nikola Mektic.

The birthday-winning trend kicked off a couple of months ago in Indian Wells, when American Rajeev Ram captured the biggest title of his career on his 33rd birthday with partner Raven Klaasen.

For Ram, everything was working on his big day, as he showed off the hands that have helped him become one of the best in the business.

Whether it’s singles or doubles, titles are hard to come by on the professional tour. Winning one on your birthday makes the celebration that much sweeter.

Looking ahead, the player with the best chance of joining the “Birthday Club” moving forward is Jack Sock. The final in Metz, France, will be held on his big day (Sept. 24). It’s probably too far away for the American No. 1 to be thinking of giving himself a present like that, but the way the calendar and stars are aligning so far this year, it might be hard to resist.
