With the U.S. Open just days away, Andy Murray’s undivided attention is on his tennis and his health. But you can rest assured that the world No. 2 will take some time to watch Saturday night’s fight between boxing great Floyd Mayweather Jr. and UFC fighter Conor McGregor.

The three-time Grand Slam champion is a passionate boxing fan, and he broke down the upcoming bout with Tennis Channel.

“I mean, it’s not exactly an easy first boxing match there if you’re fighting pretty much the best boxer of all time, or one of the best boxers of all time,” Murray said. “Certainly not an easy first boxing match to step into.”

The fight, which will be held at the T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip, is one of the most highly anticipated in recent memory.

“He seems to believe in himself,” Murray said of McGregor. “I think Floyd will go into that fight as quite a big favorite. And you know, [he’s been a] boxer for 20, 22 years as a professional and never lost, so let’s see if it happens. It will be obviously interesting to watch.”

Murray, who won the U.S. Open back in 2012, is expected to be the No. 2 seed behind Rafael Nadal in New York.
