If you had any questions about whether Canadian phenom Felix Auger-Aliassime could play on grass, they were answered after he reached the final in his first ATP grass-court tournament in Stuttgart.

His compact stroke production and huge serve was a dynamic combination all week. Although Auger-Aliassime hits a heavy ball from both sides, it appears grass courts are not a problem for the 18-year-old. He simply hits the ball too hard for the slippery surface to affect his game.

Auger-Aliassime has a tough task in his opener at The Queen's Club: he faces the athletic Grigor Dimitrov, who won this tournament in 2014. Although Dimitrov is struggling with confidence, he has much more experience on this surface and should use his devastating slice backhand to keep the ball out of Auger-Aliassime’s strike zone whenever possible.

Dimitrov has the slight edge in this matchup; the Bulgarian is listed as a slight favorite by oddsmakers, surely due to his grass-court experience. No one will be surprised if the Canadian pulls out a win given his early success in transitioning from clay to grass.

Honorable Mentions:

Juan Martin del Potro vs. Denis Shapovalov (The Queen's Club, London)

The Argentine will prove too solid for the struggling Shapovalov, who owns a sub-par 2-8 record in his past ten matches.

Ashleigh Barty vs. Donna Vekic (Birmingham)

Barty's much awaited grass-court campaign begins in Birmingham, as the French Open champion's game is tailor made for the surface. Look for the Australian to breeze past the talented Donna Vekic in her opening round.

Victoria Azarenka vs. Caroline Garcia (Mallorca)

Fresh off her sixth WTA title and second on grass, Garcia will likely be overmatched by a hungry Victoria Azarenka, who is slowly but surely returning to championship form.
