Down a set and 2-5, Coco Gauff's remarkable Wimbledon run looked all but over against the crafty veteran Polona Hercog. That is, until Gauff saved two match points in the subsequent games, broke Hercog's serve, and eventually forced a tiebreaker.

Gauff also fell behind in the breaker, 5-3. She won the next three points to earn a set point, but Hercog—tight as a drum with the victory within grasp—staved it off. But she couldn't save a second set point, which Gauff won after 32 shots that left fans around the world and on Centre Court on the edge of their seats. Until they leapt out of them in celebration:
