Garbine Muguruza will reunite with Conchita Martinez next season.

The two-time Grand Slam champion announced on social media that she is again working with Martinez, who she used as a coaching consultant between 2017 and 2018.

Their first partnership was a successful one. Martinez was acting coach for Muguruza's 2017 victory at Wimbledon, her second Grand Slam.

But Muguruza has been on a long slide since and split with longtime coach Sam Sumyk this season following a first-round defeat at Wimbledon. She is currently No. 35 in the rankings.

Martinez, who first worked with Muguruza while she was the Spanish Fed Cup captain, was coaching Karolina Pliskova until the pair split a couple of weeks ago.

Muguruza has also won the French Open during her career.
