The veteran Swedish coach previously had been assisting Kyle Edmund in 2018.

The 23-year-old will also still be coached by Vedran Martic, who took him to a carer-high No. 8 this season.

But Khachanov has since fallen to No. 17, and did not win a title this season. However, the 2018 Paris Masters champion did reach the semifinals of the Montreal Masters along with the quarterfinals of the French Open following a poor start to the season that he partly attributed to a change in racquets.

Khachanov, who is coming off competing in Davis Cup, is next scheduled to play the ATP Cup.
