Professional tennis is back in Southern California once again in the second edition of the “Home Court Advantage.” Last week, Sam Querrey took home the title and the bulk of the $10,000 prize purse, defeating Brandon Holt 10-8 in the match tiebreak.
Today’s first semifinal features rising star Brandon Nakashima vs. Brandon Holt, followed by Jason Jung vs. UCLA’s Govind Nanda.
The matches, taking place at Knowlwood Tennis Club in Santa Barbara, will follow all local COVID-19 restrictions, including separate balls for each player, and no post-match handshakes.
