It wasn’t a great day at the office for Mikael Ymer, who lost to world No. 1 Novak Djokovic in the first round of Roland Garros on Tuesday, 6-0, 6-2, 6-3.

The 22-year-old, who is now 6-7 this season, was aiming to record his first victory against a Top 30 player,  but he’s now 0-9.

Ymer, however, did have his moment during the match, bringing down the sparsely populated house with an incredible winner. Down 6-0, 3-2, 30-15, the Swede ended a rally with a well-executed tweener:

Meanwhile, Djokovic improved to 32-1 on the season. His only loss came at the US Open earlier in September, when he was defaulted from his fourth-round match for hitting a linesperson with a tennis ball.

"This whole situation has left me really sad and empty," Djokovic posted on Instagram. "I checked on the lines person and the tournament told me that thank God she is feeling ok. I‘m extremely sorry to have caused her such stress. So unintended. So wrong."

Despite the embarrassing occurrence, the Serb quickly bounced back two weeks later in Rome to claim his 36th Masters 1000 trophy.

Djokovic will meet Ricardas Berankis for a spot in the third round. He leads Berankis 2-0 in their head-to-head.
