Racquet: Babolat Pure Aero Plus 2023 ($259)

The Pure Aero is one of the premiere frames for producing pace and spin, and the extra half-inch of length in the Plus model is like putting the racquet on steroids. The added swingweight and tip speed generated by the frame produces even heavier hitting. The added dimension can take some time to get acclimated to, and attributes such as touch and control can also be compromised, but the sacrifices are worth it for players who want to bully their opponents with big serves and groundies.

This current version of the frame has been updated with a tighter string pattern to offer greater command over all that power—as does a slightly softer flex, which gives the added bonus of a more comfortable response. A new dampening technology made of flax fibers at 3 and 9 o’clock and inside the handle also improves the frame’s feel at contact. The changes give the Aero a bit more refinement without diminishing what the racquet does best.

Apparel: Adidas Tennis Premium Dress ($120)

The sporty and slim-fitting dress is made from recycled polyester with moisture-management Aeroready technology. The racerback design and mesh back panel ensure the wearer stays cool in the warmest conditions. It comes with separate inner leggings to stay supported and secure. A laser-cut Adidas logo on the chest adds to the stylish design. In addition to this black colorway worn by Wozniacki, there’s also a white option.

Shoe: Adidas Cybersonic ($180)

Introduced in 2023, the Cybersonic is the brand’s latest high-performance speed shoe. It features Energy Rods—a hollow tube that spans the midfoot to the heel—for better spring into changes of direction. The Lightstrike foam midsole cushioning soaks up court contact while keeping the shoe lightweight and responsive. Adituff recycled abrasion zones over the toe box and medial side of the shoe give additional support and protection. The outsole is a mashup of herringbone patterns of varying thickness and spread. This bolsters durability in high-wear areas, as well as give the shoe all-court capabilities.
