It's no secret the the Carota Boys, Jannik Sinner's traveling fan club, love everything about the Australian Open champion. They wouldn't be racking up the earned miles on trains, planes and automobiles following the Italian around the ATP Tour if they didn't.

But what are a few of their favorite things?

With the squad on hand for the Mutua Madrid Open this week, where Sinner is the No. 1 seed at an ATP Masters 1000 event for the first time in his career, fans found out.

Forget rain drops on roses, or whiskers on kittens. Is it his curly hair? His swinging volley? Or something else?

The verdict is decidedly split.

One of the Boys' favorite Sin-things, his humility, has already been on display at the Caja Mágica.

After beating countryman Lorenzo Sonego in his first match in Madrid, the 22-year-old spoke candidly when a reporter asked him what it's been like to rapidly surpass the achievements of a player like the 28-year-old Sonego, whom he's known for many years.

"I haven't changed because of the success," Sinner said. "I don't believe in these kind of things, because the way you are as a human being is much more important than all the rest, and I always try to surround myself with good people who give me something positive. I think that's for me the most important.

"Then of course I dream, I dream big, I dream to win as many titles as possible. I made a lot of sacrifices going away from home when I was 14, and this is still in my mind. I'm working hard every day to become a better player day after day, which is the main goal."

"When you work hard, when you wake up in the morning with the goal of becoming better, this is very important," Sinner continued. "The hours you put in, you have to be very focused about the work. But then when you finish the work, you also need people around you who are good to you, give something positive to you, and I think you have to find the right balance which I'm trying to do."

As far as his orange-clad fan club is concerned, he's finding that balance just fine.
