Jessica Pegula was serving a look at the players' party at this week's WTA 250 in Seoul, South Korea, but not the one she might've intended.

In reposting a photo of herself from earlier in the week at the Hana Bank Korea Open, Pegula both called attention to and poked fun at the wardrobe malfunction she suffered on the red carpet.

In addition to a cream-colored blazer, black shirt, and jeans, Pegula also sported a price tag beneath the jacket's collar near her right shoulder.

"When you forget to tag the tag off your jacket but still look cute," the American posted on X, the platform formerly called Twitter, adding a skull and crossbones emoji for sarcastic emphasis.

Fans on social media appreciated Pegula's good humor about the incident, while her fellow pros Jennifer Brady and Donna Vekic found the whole thing hilarious.

But aside from a sartorial snafu, Pegula has had a strong week so far in her return to the Seoul tournament, as she tops the draw in the country where her mother Kim was born.

Pegula last played the tournament in 2019, but lost in the first round when she was ranked world No. 78. This year, the world No. 3 is through to her eighth semifinal of the year, and bids for her second title of the season.

She faces fellow American Emina Bektas, the University of Michigan alumna, in the semifinals.
