Johanna Konta suffered a tough first round loss to Marie Bouzkova two weeks ago in Kentucky. The early exit is understandable, considering the tours were shutdown due to COVID-19 for nearly six months. But this week, the world No. 15 has found her rhythm, on and off the court.

Konta is into the event's final four after posting a 6-4, 6-3 win over No. 13 seed Maria Sakkari, who had upset Serena Williams in the round of  16.

The 29-year-old Brit isn't just finding her sweet spot on the court, but apparently her golf game is looking pretty good, too.

"I have given my golfing game a bit of a go. I found out that I'm left-handed in golf," she told press. "There is a simulator there which they've set up for us."

Konta making the simulator a part of her daily routine as she settles into bubble life. With the help of hitting partner Dan Smethurst, she's feeling inspired and is even stocking up on gear.

"Dan is a very keen golfer," Konta said. "He actually brought his glove, and he's probably going to hate that I'm telling everyone that he's brought his golfing glove. But since then, I have now got a golfing glove, too."

The No. 8 seed is set to take on Victoria Azarenka on Friday for a spot in the Premier 5 final. If her tennis game is any indicator, Konta will be hitting hole-in-one's in no time.

"I might get really good while I'm here," she said. "Let's just say that."
