Maria Sharapova and John McEnroe reunite!

The former world No. 1 may have hung up her tennis racquets in 2020, but Sharapova has remained a part of the tennis world, featuring among a star-studded roster of guests on McEnroe’s ESPN+ series, McEnroe’s Places.

A five-time Grand Slam champion, Sharapova welcomed her first child in 2022, and will join McEnroe and tennis’ original power couple Andre Agassi and Stefanie Graf in a celebrity pickleball event next February.

McEnroe’s tennis answer to Peyton Manning’s Peyton’s Places debuted on the streamer ahead of the 2023 Wimbledon Championships and will run through the US Open later this summer, pairing him with legends of tennis’ past and present to get a deeper understanding of the game.

“No one has more passion for their sport than John McEnroe, we saw it every time he stepped foot on the court and we hear it every time he’s in the announcer’s booth,” said Manning. “John brings that same passion to McEnroe’s Places, telling the story of tennis with some of the greatest to ever pick up a racket.”
