Red clay, macaroons, and the top players serving out spectacular play—that was supposed to be on next week's menu. However, the French Open, in the best-case scenario, won't happen until late September.

But Nike is trying to turn that frown upside down by releasing its summer collection.

The summer court collection offers 11 items, which include a tri-colored striped dress, a men's light blue striped top and a women's pleated skirt.

World No. 5 Elina Svitolina recently took to the practice court wearing a tank from the collection. The new piece is form fitting and has a sketch of a player digging into a backhand volley on what seems to resemble the French Open's terre battue.

The NikeCourt Slam skirt elastic band makes for a comfortable and seamless fit while chasing down balls and reaching back for overheads. On Monday, Victoria Azarenka was seen rocking the summer pleated skirt.

The newly released summer line already seems to be buzzing on social media with many enthusiasts preferring the tennis ball cans filled with macaroons over the color-spotted Melbourne attire from earlier this year.
