Serena Williams stars in Delta's new flight safety video

Now that's an attention-grabbing flight safety video. Serena Williams has starred in plenty of videos, ads and even video games often alongside fellow elite athletes. But now, she’s reached new heights (literally) in the Delta Safety Video Game: Legend of Safety.

Rest assured this is nothing like the usual boring safety procedure speeches you have to sit through on every single flight (while desperately trying to tune it out with your earphones on blast).

Williams appears during the smoking part of the safety video announcement, using her powerful strokes to defeat an offensive cigarette.

It’s still a pretty repetitive and well-known monologue, but at least Delta is getting creativity.

The 22-time Grand Slam champion has certainly done a lot of flying in her career, but won't be boarding jets for tournaments anytime soon after pulling out of both Wuhan and Beijing with a right shoulder injury.
