Every year the Volvo Car Open puts on a party that the players never want to miss. It always includes a well-stocked candy bar, which has become famously associated with the Charleston stop.

"I think what differentiates us from most is when I do see player party at other places I see a lot of ties, I see a lot of speeches, I see a lot of formal dinners," Charleston tournament director Bob Moran said. "I get that for what you have to do for sponsors. We've tried to really stay to the mold of: Let's create a really cool atmosphere that’s all about the players."

This week was another resounding success as seeded stars like 2016 champion Sloane Stephens and defending semifinalist Madison Keys showed up for a night of fun.
