After the first major apparel drop of the year at the Australian Open, tennis fans usually have to wait until the Sunshine Swing to see their favorite players in fresh new outfits.

But at this year's BNP Paribas Open and Miami Open presented by Itau, the wait has been more than worth it. Players like Carlos Alcaraz, Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka were seen rocking unique and colorful styles. Meanwhile, Taylor Fritz made a splash in a new sponsor's kit and Andrey Rublev unveiled a clothing line with a mission.

Here are the outfits turning heads in South Florida and Southern California:

These might not be brand new kits—in fact, Iga Swiatek and Ben Shelton have been wearing variations of these On outfits all year long—but recent news is causing tennis fans to take a second look. The Swiss sportwear label is finally set to release its first tennis-specific collection in April in collaboration with Swiatek and Shelton.

The move may be On's latest milestone in growing its presence at the highest level of the game—but it's been a long time coming for tennis fans who will finally get to own their favorite players' match kits and gear, from Swiatek's signature cap to Shelton's favored headband and layers.

Carlos Alcaraz - Nike

With most of Nike's roster outfitted in the blue, white and blacks of its Spring/Summer 2024 Collection, Carlos Alcaraz stood out from the pack in trendy pink at the BNP Paribas Open.

The defending champ opted for a NikeCourt Advantage Top featuring a subtle geometric pattern in "playful pink, photo blue and white". And during a fortnight that included everything from torrential rainfall in the desert to an on-court bee invasion, "playful" was probably the right vibe for Alcaraz en route to his second-straight victory in Indian Wells.

Aryna Sabalenka - Nike

Aryna Sabalenka has been "feeling like a Barbie" since last year's US Open, when she rocked a custom kit from sponsor Nike for the first time.

While her outfit at the BNP Paribas Open might not have been a one-of-a-kind fit, the two-time Australian Open champ rocked her own "playful pink" colorway of Nike's Dri-FIT Advantage dress (which is available in white and "photo blue").

Sabalenka also turned heads for her bright pink warm-up hoodie too, part of the Nike x Jacquemus collab.

Her eye-catching "Le Swoosh" hoodie featured all over cutouts of the famous Nike logo in a relaxed, oversized fit featuring dropped shoulders.

For Naomi Osaka's return to tennis after maternity leave, Nike created a stunning sleeveless dress that featured a shimmering snake skin cutout along the chest and skirt, offset by a swirling stripe detail.

At the Australian Open and throughout the Middle East swing, Osaka rocked the black and white version of the dress. But for her first matches in the United States since the 2022 US Open, Osaka brought the dress back in a new dark teal and light green colorway.

Taylor Fritz - BOSS

A fortnight ago, former Indian Wells champion Taylor Fritz turned heads for what he wasn't wearing—the American parted ways with longtime sponsor Nike on the eve of the tournament in favor of a new apparel deal with BOSS.

“I look forward to bringing my best, most BOSS self to the court in sportswear that combines smart aesthetics with exciting, performance-driven features,” Fritz said in a statement. The brand kept things simple in Indian Wells, with a white polo shirt and black shorts, with a coordinating jacket, headband and kit bag.

Marta Kostyuk kept things simple and classic, too, as she rocked Wilson's new Sportif tenins dress in navy and white, with subtle red details for contrast.

The Ukrainian became the face of the brand last year, when she was announced as the venerable American sports gear brand's first "360" player—wearing Wilson apparel and shoes and using their Blade 98 racquet in competition.

Stefanos Tsitsipas - Adidas

While multiple identical Adidas kits had some WTA players like Caroline Wozniacki seeing double in Indian Wells, Stefanos Tsitsipas made sure to stand out.

The Greek wore a cool gray Airchill Freelift Polo from adidas that featured a geometric print. He completed the look with white shorts and accessories, as well as his favored Adidas Barricade 13 tennis shoes in white and green.

Andrey Rublev - Rublo

One of our favorite kits from the Australian Open got a refresh ahead of the Sunshine Swing, with Andrey Rublev bringing a gradient gray version of his signature Rublo outfit.

And now fans can feel good when purchasing their own Rublo clothes, too. The Russian player announced in Indian Wells that all proceeds will benefit his eponymous foundation, which will assist children who are afflicted with various illnesses with their critical medical needs.

“There are so many children in need of financial support for critical medical needs and being able to help them is a huge privilege for me,” Rublev said.

Emma Navarro - Fila

Emma Navarro - Fila

One of the fastest rising WTA players of the year, Emma Navarro made her mark in Indian Wells with her run to the quarterfinals—which included a victory over No. 16 seed Elina Svitolina and a stunner over world No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka in the fourth round.

All the while, Navarro was rocking Fila's Tie Breaker collection, which features a cool gray top with contrasting swirls and waves. She completed the look with a white skirt, as well as her favored Fila Axilus 3 shoes.

Coco Gauff - New Balance

Rounding out the list is Coco Gauff, whose on-court style has impressed since she launched her signature New Balance shoes, the Coco CG1s, in 2022. The 20-year-old has been outfitted by the Boston-based brand for almost six years now, and the partnership continues to produce some of the most eye-catching (and most discussed) tennis apparel.

In Indian Wells, Gauff did her best impression of a tennis ball as she rocked a neon yellow zippered crop top and matching skirt. She completed the look with her CG1 shoes in a new "Unity of Sport" colorway.
