Gael Monfils and Arthur Fils, sittin' in a tree?

The stars of the ABN AMRO Open in Rotterdam got in the holiday spirit this Valentine's Day by dishing on who they love most on tour. And for the 37-year-old Monfils, age is nothing but a number as far as it pertains to his 2023 Laver Cup teammate.

"Arthur Fils, you know, he's a cool guy," the elder Frenchman says about his younger compatriot, 19. "He is quite kind and a really, really nice guy."

Monfils gets some love from Alex de Minaur in response, with the Aussie saying that Monfils has "always had [his] back," while Hubert Hurkacz says has heart-eyes for another "nice" guy in Grigor Dimitrov.

"He has a good connection with the people, and I think we could have fun out there that day," the Pole, who gets his own gushing praise from Australian Open champion Jannik Sinner, says.

Other perfect matches included Holger Rune and Novak Djokovic—"He has amazing returns and I love to return also," Rune reasons; Felix Auger-Aliassime and Frances Tiafoe, with the Canadian expressing appreciation for the American's "energy" and "vibe"; and, of course, childhood besties Andrey Rublev and Daniil Medvedev.

"He gave me the special role of being a grandfather," Rublev begins, before quickly laughing, "godfather! Godfather to his daughter."

But the boys at the Rotterdam Ahoy weren't the only ones feeling the spirit of the holiday. Power couples Taylor Fritz and Morgan Riddle, Daria Kasatkina and Natalia Zabiiako, and Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas were among those to send each other love on social this year.
