As the red, black and white design of the men’s version indicates, Wilson is taking aim at the youth market with this low-to-the-ground, lightweight shoe. But it’s not as harsh on the foot as a lot of gameday shoes, most likely because the Reactive Gel inserts in the heel and forefoot put back some of the comfort that its thin midsole takes away. While the Tour Vision lacks the walking-on-a-cloud characteristics of some other Wilsons, stability is good due to ample use of soft thermoplastic, which wraps across the upper, and hard TPU that runs under the midsole. Ventilation could have been improved with more mesh in the upper and an outsole-to-insole airflow system. Still, you can’t beat its flashy look.
