The Tecnifibre T-Fight 305 and 295 are Tour Prepared. Manufactured according to standards suitable to ATP-level professionals, the T-Fights include silicone in the handle, which the company says reduces negative vibrations.
How It Tested
Lighter and more evenly balanced than the heavier T-Fight models, the T-Fight 305 and 295 are Tecnifibre’s jack-of-all-trades for intermediate-level players: They offer a good combination of pop, precision and maneuverability from all parts of the court. “I liked the 295’s control,” commented one 4.0 playtester. “When I was jammed with shots into the body, I was still able to put the ball back into play. I liked its ability to carve out short angles. It was also very receptive on the slice backhand—I got some bite on that shot—and was conducive to a wide variety of volleys.” While playtesters complimented the 295’s power and spin potential at the baseline, some said that, against faster balls hit by better players, off-center hits could feel jarring. For those looking for more stability, try the 305; its half ounce of additional weight, while making it slightly more difficult to swing, will help the racquet hold up against hard blows.
