Wilson’s most highly developed performance shoe was born from a collaboration of Wilson designers and an international group of weartesters. Wilson worked with focus groups in four countries—France, Germany, Spain and the United States—and integrated feedback from both weartesters and pro players. To improve responsiveness, Wilson has built what it calls a “3D-injected TPU forefoot piece” into the shoe, which is added to aid acceleration and controlled deceleration. The shoe’s lightweight, low-to-the-ground ride and gripping Duralast outsole make it a prime choice for the aggressive player. Endofit, Wilson’s new full-construction inner sleeve, is designed to enhance the fit, feel and stability of the shoe. Some weartesters mentioned the initial tightness putting the shoe on, due to the tongue’s attachment to the Endofit inner sleeve. “It’s like eating lobster,” one woman weartester said. “They make you work for it, but once you get inside, you’re gonna love it.”
