Gear Review

Yonex users appreciate the brand’s commitment to making tournament-player-level racquets. The RDiS 100 joins the RD002 Tour frame as the heaviest in the Yonex family, but it’s not as head light, so this hefty stick not only requires high skill but also a high fitness level to wield it through three sets. You have to work to harness the racquet’s power, as top-notch players can do with long, fast strokes, but it has excellent control if you bring the heat. You’ll also be rewarded with heavy slice, great feel and touch at the net, and rock-solid stability that forgives many mishits. Big servers can produce incredible speed and spin.

Bottom Line: This racquet is a class act for tournament-ready players fit enough to go the distance.
