Good morning. After an excellent week of on-site coverage in Toronto from Ed and Andrew, today sees the start of the Masters Series event in Cincinnati, and also the WTA tournament in Montreal. Pete is already on site in Cincy, and expects to be posting here later today.
Please use this as your daily space for discussing the ongoing tennis action. As always with these events, there are no really easy rounds - today we jump straight in, with matches between Fernando Gonzalez and Tomas Berdych, and Mikhail Youzhny and Tommy Haas, to mention only two. And not forgetting the all-Russian clash between Marat Safin and Dmitry Tursunov.
