Hi all. We're into the second day of the WTA's year-ending Championships in Doha, after yesterday's three matches resulted in straight-sets wins for Vera Zvonareva, Jelena Jankovic and Venus Williams (over Svetlana Kuznetsova, Ana Ivanovic and Dinara Safina respectively). The gusting wind in the outdoor stadium played its part in the proceedings, but Fernando Verdasco's hair appeared profoundly unruffled as he sat watching in the stands.
