Forbes’ new Celebrity 100—a list of the 100 "most powerful people in the entertainment business this year"—includes five tennis players: Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Maria Sharapova, Serena Williams and Venus Williams. Tennis is the most represented sport on the Celebrity 100. The list, which is headed by entertainer Lady Gaga, includes actors, athletes, musicians and other entertainers. It measures earnings and media visibility, both on traditional outlets such as TV, radio, newspapers and magazines, but also includes web and social media rankings.

There were 19 athletes on the list, headed by Tiger Woods at No. 6. Federer placed No. 25, behind Lebron James (No. 10) and Kobe Bryant of the NBA (No. 14), but ahead of soccer star David Beckham, radio personality Howard Stern and controversial actor Charlie Sheen. Nadal finished 46th, ahead of Alex Rodriguez of the New York Yankees (No. 49), as well as actress Jennifer Lopez, while Sharapova was ranked No. 80, behind author Stephen King, but ahead of actresses Eva Longoria and Cameron Diaz. Serena is ranked No. 84, ahead of rapper Lil Wayne, while Venus is No. 86, ahead of actor Steve Carell. All were ahead of the only other women’s athlete on the list, auto racing’s Danica Patrick, at No. 96.
