Fourhand is the Daily Spin's occasional roundup of various hits and misses on tour.

CHEW ON THIS: Serena Williams is here to remind you that, to no one’s surprise, it's not a great idea to eat your dog's food, no matter how gourmet that salmon and rice appears to be. "OK, so the best thing about Snap is that I don't have to hear anybody hating, or just trolling, because I think this is something you definitely want to hate or troll on":

Serena ends the clip by showing the note she wrote on the dog-food menu: "If you are human, do not eat. It makes you sh-t." But hey, she sported a stylish hoodie in telling the tale. So there’s that.

PAT DOWN: Does anyone else find it odd that Patrick Mouratoglou sees it fit to weigh in on the Andy Murray-Amelie Mauresmo coaching split? "Obviously, something was wrong," Serena's coach said, adding, "The only time in his career when he could find this extra thing to win those matches against the top three and win Slams, the Olympics, was when he was with Ivan [Lendl].” True, he answered what was asked of him. At the same time, he should continue to expect full scrutiny of the status of his relationship with Serena.

LOOK AT ME!: In her Rome opener this week, Jelena Jankovic donned the most talked-about frock in women's tennis to date this year. Even so, JJ did not quite have her eyes on the prize, falling in three sets to Eugenie Bouchard. (To her credit, Bouchard followed that victory with a three-set triumph over Australian Open champ Angelique Kerber.)

HUFF AND PUFF: A Huffington Post headline read: "Rich White Men Need To Stop Questioning Equal Pay in Tennis." Thanks for the memories, Ion Tiriac.
