Caroline Wozniacki adjusted her offseason training, having repeatedly spent time on the sidelines in 2016 with injuries.
Wozniacki was affected by wrist problems and had an ankle injury during the clay-court season, falling to No. 74 in the rankings. But she surged back in the second half of the season by reaching the semifinals of the U.S Open and then winning two titles.
The 26-year-old, known as one of the fittest players on tour, is now doing less physical training to avoid wear and tear.
