Tennis may be a solitary sport, but Rafael Nadal has joined the ensemble cast of a new music video, "Don't You Need Somebody.” It's dance artist and DJ RedOne's latest single. The performer may be best known for his work with Lady Gaga in her glory days, but for his new song, he enlists the help of (deep breath now) Jennifer Lopez, Milla Jovovich, Akon, Cristiano Ronaldo, Shaggy, Priyanka Chopra, Randy Jackson, Ryan Seacrest—Rafa—and more. In truth, Rafa does about five seconds' worth of solitary dancing and lip-syncing. That's five seconds more than anyone needed to see of Akon again, but when we get right down to it, this isn't the most memorable clip. It's no "Gypsy" by Shakira, that's for sure.

That will go down as Nadal's best chance at ever winning an MTV Music Award, which can't possibly rank among the Top 100 awards he'd ever want to garner anyway.

But small matter, that. His fans would simply like to see him in competitive tennis play again, post-Wimbledon and, presumably, in time for the Rio Olympics, where he's to serve as Spain's flag-bearer at the opening ceremonies.
