Novak Djokovic versus Ernests Gulbis. A first career meeting between the 21-year-old Serb and the 19-year-old Latvian, although the two players know each other from their junior days.
Player of the Day:
For yesterday - Dinara Safina. Saving a match point in the second set, and coming back from a break down at the start of the third, she defeated Maria Sharapova for the second time at Roland Garros, to progress to the quarterfinals.
Weather Report:
Today's weather forecast predicts some heavy showers in Paris. We can only hope that there is time in between tro watch some tennis too.
