Good morning. This is your regular daily thread for discussing either the type of precipitation falling or the tennis taking place in Paris. Anyone who missed the Bonus! Crisis Center extension post last night might like to go there and check out Mariej's Roland Garros experiences from yesterday. Today I'm planning to be there myself, and hoping for reasonable luck with the weather. Today's schedule of play can be found here.

Match Choice:

Yesterday's chosen matches didn't take place because of the downpour that descended in the late afternoon - for the men, Philipp Kohlschreiber versus Stanislas Wawrinka, and for the women, Casey Dellacqua against Marion Bartoli.

Player of the Day:

An honoray mention to Wayne Odesnik, for disposing of Guillermo Canas in three tiebreak sets. Two players who rose above expectations were Israel's Tzipora Obziler, 35 years old, who took the number eight seed Venus Williams to three sets, and former finalist Guillermo Coria, whose comeback to the tour has been less than spectacular in recent months, but who nonetheless played well enough to challenge Tommy Robredo over four sets.

Weather Report:

Heavy showers are forecast in Paris today, so it's not yet certain how much tennis will be played.

As always, enjoy it if it happens!
