Billionaire Phillip Zepter is considered one of the likeliest candidates to run against Serbian Tennis Federation president Slobodan Zivojinovic in the upcoming election, Blic reports. Zepter was reportedly at the Davis Cup finals where Serbia beat France and also celebrated with the players and other Serbian officials after the victory. He is the former head of the Serbian Olympic committee, has also been involved in Formula 1 racing and once expressed interest in buying the soccer club, Red Star Belgrade. Both the Djokovic family and Serbian Davis Cup captain Bogdan Obradovic have asked for changes at the federation.

Economist and lobbyist Milka Forcan, who is vice president of the federation, has also been mentioned as a candidate.
