There’s no rest for the weary, the wicked, or the legendary this week. As of last night, Serena Williams had already joined her sister Venus in Charleston, while Roger Federer was on his way to joining his fellow Swiss Stan Wawrinka for a Davis Cup tie in Geneva. I’ll be back on Thursday with previews of this weekend’s four quarterfinal Cup ties. Today I’ll take a look at what’s ahead for the women as they begin their shift from hard courts to clay.
