KEY BISCAYNE, Fla. — It's a stacked men's lineup on Friday at the Miami Open, and so the Daily Mix is breaking down Juan Martin del Potro and Novak Djokovic's chances.
Del Potro is a hot topic right now and it's well deserved since the Argentine is playing some of the best tennis of his life. Last Sunday, the 29-year-old defeated Roger Federer, 6-4, 6-7 (8), 7-6 (2) in the Indian Wells final, marking the first ATP Masters 1000 title of his career.
Instead of resting on his laurels, the world No. 6 is now looking to win the Sunshine Double (which is winning Indian Wells and the Miami Open back-to-back). With Del Potro coming off of the second-biggest victory of his career (the first being his US Open title in 2009), it's hard to count him out, but he's understandably exhausted.
