Bernard Tomic and Viktor Troicki were ordered off a practice court by a policeman in Washington, D.C., a video clip online showed.

The police warning was likely because of a severe weather forecast in the area. The clip showed the policeman approaching the two players, and then telling them to "get off the court."

Troicki protested, waving his arms, prompting the police officer to demand more directly that they leave.

Tomic approached and said, “Excuse me, sir, but it's not raining."

He then questioned the officer's reaction before backing away.

The two players, who are known for their occasional verbal displays on court, then appeared to gather their equipment and leave the court.
