Good afternoon. As this is Wimbledon's traditional middle Sunday with no play on the lawns of the AELTC, there is no live tennis to watch today. However, I'm sure there are plenty of reasons to discuss tennis. For example, tomorrow's Order of Play is already out - here it is. So, as usual, please treat this as your regular gathering-place for tennis talk. It's OK to go off-topic here as well.

Today's picture comes courtesy of Tribe member Ali C. Taken yesterday evening at Wimbledon, it shows Nathalie Dechy with her mixed doubles partner, Andy Ram. Ali C says: "it was nice to see Dechy having a good time with Andy Ram (as they trounced Brit duo Delgado and O'Brien) after we last saw her crying into her towel a few days ago."

The UK arm of the TennisWorld Chica Transport Service is still going strong, and my car received a tune-up earlier in the week. It probably needed it after all those tense foot-down-to-the-floor dashes to the Eurostar terminal and various airports during the Rafa Euro-Spectator Slam that's still going on. About an hour from now, I'll be driving to Heathrow to pick up Pete, and will take him to Wimbledon. After this, we hope to be able to connect up with Steve Tignor for dinner.

Finally, I promised that the pictures from the Roland Garros men's final would at last be uploaded for today, only three weeks after the event. Here they are. Click on any picture to enlarge, and use the arrows to page through. I've also created a new web page with links to all of my Roland Garros pictures, for anyone who may have missed them at the time, and wants to see them. By the way, can anyone identify the first five pictures of the past champions that appeared in the parade before the men's final (these can be found via the web page link)? In the excitement of the moment, I missed their names.

Enjoy the rest of Sunday.
