A grinding clay-court specialist, Pablo Andujar captured his first title on the Casablanca clay in 2011. He followed that effort with a runner-up result in Stuttgart, losing to compatriot Juan Carlos Ferrero in the first all-Spanish Stuttgart final since 1979. Andujar, who lives and trains in Valencia, successfully defended his Casablanca title in April 2012, sweeping compatriot Albert Ramos in the final. The 71st-ranked Andujar beat Juan Monaco in the Gstaad final to win his third career title on July 27, 2014. In 2004, he partnered Marcel Granollers to win the Roland Garros junior doubles title.
