An all-court player, who cites her serve, volley and forehand as her strengths, Petra Cetkovska's best Grand Slam results are a pair of fourth-round appearances at the 2008 French Open and 2011 Wimbledon. Cetkovska reached her first WTA final in New Haven in 2011 where she qualified then upset three Top 15 players in succession — Agnieszka Radwanska, Marion Bartoli and Li Na — before losing to world No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki in the final. She was born in Prostejov, Czech Republic and splits time between her hometown and Paris, where she trains.Cetkovska is fluent in Czech, English and French.
