Towering South African Kevin Anderson took the college route to the pro tour. A three-time all American at the University of Illinois, Anderson's imposing serve is the key stroke of his power-based baseline game. The six-foot-nine Anderson won his first ATP title in his hometown of Johannesburg, in February, 2011. Anderson defeated Andy Roddick, top-seeded John Isner and qualifier Marinko Matosevic in succession to collect his second title in Delray Beach in March, 2012. On July 28, 2013, Anderson faced 6'10" John Isner in the tallest ATP final in history and held two match points at 6-5 in the decider before losing in three tie break sets. Anderson married Kelsey O’Neal, on Nov. 10, 2011 in Willamette, Illinois.
