On June 21, 2014, Bautista Agut beat Benjamin Becker, 2-6, 7-6 (2), 6-4, to win his first ATP title on the grass of 's-Hertogenbosch. On July 13, 2014, Bautista Agut defeated Lukas Rosol, 6-3, 4-6, 6-2, to win his second career title on the red clay of Stuttgart. His nickname is "Bati."
