Nicknamed “Dutzi,” the No. 2 Serbian (behind No. 1 Djokovic) made his Davis Cup debut against Sweden in 2012, defeating Prpic, and played in the Davis Cup final against Czech Republic in 2013. Career highlights include contesting in all four Grand Slams for the first time in 2014 and reaching the fourth round at Roland Garros, defeating Delbonis, Zopp, and Sock before losing to Nadal. He reached the second round of Wimbledon and, as a lucky loser, reached the third round in Miami in 2014. In 2015, he won the Istanbul doubles title after he partnered with Albot for the first time.
