Ivanovic keeps run going with upset of Dementieva

Former No. 1 Ana Ivanovic scored her second consecutive win over a top 10 player with a 6-1 7-6(5) win over No. 6 Elena Dementieva, The Serbian had beaten No. 10 Victoria Azarenka the day prior. She’ll face Nadia Petrova, who beat Alexandra Dulgheru 6-0,  3-6, 6-2.
“It's a great feeling to beat a player as good as Elena," said Ivanovic. "She's a great player and has beaten me many times before. But tonight I felt like I played very well and was able to vary my shots well.”—M.C.
