Kim

Mornin'. What with the early daily start at Roland Garros (for those of us here in the U.S.) and my own schedule as I prepare to leave for Paris, I'm going try to provide the proverbial tabula rasa for you every day, before the action even begins. We'll probably put these "Crisis Center" posts up at night and they won't be heavy on content.

Most of you readers are, by now, more than familiar with the idea of the CCs, which is to give you a new place every day to gather and post comments on the action. I know it can get pretty confusing when there are multiple posts, including the ones I call "red meat" entries, and these Crisis Center posts seem to alleviate some of the confusion.

Of course, you should feel free to move the conversation over when a new, red-meat post goes up. Today, everyone will be curious to see how fit and sharp Kim Clijsters looks as she begins her campaign to bag one of the two Grand Slam titles that has eluded her. Perhaps she broke the hex when she won the Australian Open at beginning of the year. So have at it—I'll file a more substantial post later in the day.
