Stanislas Wawrinka announces on Facebook that he has split with his coach, Peter Lundgren, whom he has worked with since July 2010. The 19th-ranked Wawrinka cracked the Top 10 in 2008, and while under Lundgren was able to re-enter the Top 20 and reach his first Grand Slam quarterfinals at the 2010 U.S. Open and 2011 Australian Open. But he apparently wasn't satisfied with his progress this summer, where he only reached the fourth round of one of the three Grand Slams. "He played a major role in my career and I am deeply grateful," Wawrinka wrote. "We have had a lot of success and fun working together, I can't thank him enough."
