Azarenka: Bounce is different on blue clay

World No. 1 Victoria Azarenka joins a chorus of players criticizing the blue clay at Madrid. "The bounce is different which changes everything completely already," she told reporters. "It's just a completely different thing. Nobody really asked the players if they want to do it so what’s the point in talking about it. I see that tournament is trying to impress. I don't know who. It's something different, I don't know innovation or something. Maybe they should be focused on something else. It's not my point to judge. The court is different; it’s obvious, let's drop it."
