Tomic hot tub brawl video surfaces

by: Matt Cronin October 31, 2012

A video of Bernard Tomic wrestling with a friend in a jacuzzi of a rooftop apartment has surfaced:

Tomic had been celebrating his 20th birthday when neighbors noticed the fracas about 5:30 a.m. on Monday. Police were called and told one man was trying to strangle another.

“It was a bit of a wrestle and laugh around that came out the wrong way,” Tomic told Australia’s Channel 9. “It’s not their (the police) fault. They didn’t know who was up there, or what was going on -- they just wanted to come check and found it was me. I know I am having a bad year but they’re my problems I have to deal with and I am hopeful I can have a better year next year.”

Tomic apologized to anyone who was offended.
