We're ramping up to the semifinals and subsequent finals of all the events at the 2013 French Open, and the tournament has not reached this point sans drama. Rightfully so, as the hollering, whistling Parisians would have it. Without further ado, here are pieces you might have missed—and mustn't.

[1] Roger Federer, Serena Williams, Rafael Nadal, and Maria Sharapova began their two-week stay with a little black-light tennis at a Nike exhibition. Very cool theme and execution. As it stands today, three of those four remain in contention for titles at Roland Garros.

**2]** Mikhail Youhzny continues to speak softly and carry—err, destroy—a big stick. On the heels of yesteryear's [Miami meltdown, he bashed his Head axe into his courtside chair and reaped a code violation from the chair umpire. ESPN's YouTube upload of the incident already had nearly 650,000 views at press time, and that happened just four days ago. One has to wonder if Head is actually quite pleased by the Russian's antics. Any publicity is good publicity?

[3] Far away from the action at this year's second Grand Slam event, Andy Murray quietly appeared on the July cover of GQ's UK publication. He's a "man on fire," allegedly. What no one doubts about his appearance in the mag's pages is this: He loves playing at Wimbledon and madly wants to win it. Go behind the scenes with GQ and a fiery AM here.

4]** The Rodionova sisters, Anastasia and Arina, are definitely not dull in their tweeting ways. Today, Arina [tweeted, "Heard wine heals pretty well. How much should i drink to fix 4 injuries??" That came on the heels of her sister's spat withNew York Times Straight Sets writer Ben Rothenberg's over whether she was rejoicing over the fact that, due to injury, Venus and Serena Williams pulled out of a French Open doubles match against her:
