Rafael Nadal suggests that was poetic justice that he managed to beat Novak Djokovic in an epic semifinal at Roland Garros where he was down a break in the fifth set after he lost a record five hour and 53 minute marathon final to the Serbian at the 2012 Australian Open.

“In Australia everything was good for me, yet I lost,” he said. “So I deserved such a match after this defeat in Australia.”
