Wozniacki staves off break-up rumors; McIlroy golfs with Clinton

It shows that a star has been born (and then some) when she is relentlessly hounded by alleged breakup news with her paramour. Such is the plight, all things relative, of Caroline Wozniacki, who persistently denies to the media that she and PGA-star boyfriend Rory McIlroy have parted ways. With that said, the picture of the two chosen by the Washington Post is a bit humorous.

Serena Williams has even weighed in on the golf-tennis tandem's Twitter happenings:

So what's next for the two? Wozniacki, fresh off of the door being slammed on her to the WTA's season-ending championships in Istanbul, is playing in Luxembourg this week. (She may serve as an alternate in Istanbul.) McIlroy, meanwhile, is also focusing on business, and played golf last week with Bill Clinton in support of his Rory Foundation.

For what it's worth, Wozniacki's Twitter avatar continues to be a downright-gorgeous image of the two.

Are you a fan of this pairing, and does not talking on Twitter (where McIlroy hasn't mentioned Wozniacki since July) really add up to anything resembling an overt breakup? Seems like some media members are being rather "middle school" about this matter. And yet, these two remain news.
